Laser Stain and Contamination Removal
Remove oil, grease, carbon, process residue, and surface staining from metal, stone, and concrete with no solvents and no media. Laser lifts the contaminant and leaves the substrate clean and dry.
See Total Cost for This Job TypeThe Problem with Traditional Methods
Oil, grease, carbon, and process residue contaminate equipment, weld zones, and floors. Solvent wiping spreads the film, leaves residue, and fails to clean porous or textured surfaces. The leftover film blocks coating adhesion and hides defects.
Degreasers and solvents generate hazardous waste, require ventilation, and leave a residue that must be rinsed and dried before any coating or weld. The labor and disposal cost stacks up fast on large areas.
Stains in stone, concrete, and masonry resist scrubbing and bleach. Pressure washing drives water and contaminant deeper and damages soft substrates. The stain returns.
Why Laser for Laser Stain and Contamination Removal
No Solvents
No degreasers, no chemical baths, no rinse. The laser lifts oil, carbon, and residue dry. No hazardous liquid waste, no VOC exposure.
Cleans Porous Surfaces
Reaches stone, concrete, and textured metal that solvent wiping smears. The contaminant vaporizes instead of spreading.
Weld and Coat Ready
The surface comes out dry and free of film, which is the clean substrate inspectors and coatings demand. No dry time before the next step.
How We Do It
Our pulsed fiber laser vaporizes oil, carbon, and organic staining off the surface. The contaminant absorbs the energy and lifts away as dust and vapor captured by HEPA filtration. The substrate reflects the beam and stays intact.
We tune power and scan speed to the contaminant and substrate. Light oil film on stainless needs a fraction of the energy that baked-on carbon on cast iron requires. Stone and concrete clean without water or chemicals.
The cleaned surface is dry and residue-free, ready for inspection, coating, or weld. No rinse, no dry time, no solvent disposal.
