Your fleet rusts on a schedule. Your cleaning should too. We come to your yard. No transport and no spent abrasive media or blast-media disposal manifests. Removed coatings, undercoatings, captured particulate, and filters remain project-specific waste streams.
Laser cleaning removes corrosion and coatings without adding abrasive media. No transport. No shop queue. No spent abrasive media to recover or dispose of. If lead-bearing or other regulated undercoatings are removed, the captured material and filters may still require testing, manifests, and regulated disposal based on their classification. The vehicles stay in your yard.
Chemical strippers and solvents for decal and coating removal can create chemical-stripper sludge or solvent waste that requires characterization, ventilation, handling, and disposal. Those controls and downtime can cost more than the cleaning itself.
On-site laser cleaning does not create an abrasive-media dust cloud or add blast media that can migrate to neighboring properties. Source capture, laser-safety controls, and contaminant-specific work-zone controls still apply.
"The certified surface-prep sub your fleet manager and your insurance carrier both approve."
A standard Class 8 truck frame takes 4-8 hours depending on rust severity and accessibility. We typically clean 2-3 trucks per day on-site at your yard. For a 20-truck fleet on a quarterly schedule, that is 7-10 on-site days per year spread across 4 visits.
Yes. Our maintenance contracts provide scheduled quarterly or monthly yard visits at locked-in rates. Each contract includes a fleet inspection, prioritized cleaning schedule (worst vehicles first), before-and-after documentation, and emergency response for unscheduled needs. Contract clients get priority booking over ad-hoc requests.
Some older undercoatings may contain lead, asbestos, or other regulated constituents; material identification and testing must be addressed during project planning. Abrasive blasting can transfer those constituents into spent blast media. Laser cleaning adds no abrasive media, while airborne emissions are managed with source capture and HEPA filtration. Removed undercoating, captured particulate, and filters may still require characterization, manifests, and regulated disposal based on the actual material and applicable rules.
That is the core advantage. We come to your yard with everything needed: laser unit, generator, fume extraction, and safety equipment. Fire trucks, buses, construction equipment, and oversized vehicles are cleaned on-site without any transport. The vehicle stays on your lot.
