The Challenge

Fleet corrosion follows a predictable cycle. Road salt exposure in winter, summer humidity, and year-round road spray create rust that starts at weld joints, frame brackets, and undercoating failures. Left untreated, surface rust becomes structural rust. A frame rail that costs $200 to clean today costs $5,000+ to replace next year.
The traditional approach is reactive: wait until the rust is visible, then send the vehicle to a blast shop. This means transport time, shop queue time, blasting time, cleanup time, and return transport. For a fleet of 20 trucks, the cumulative downtime is measured in weeks per year. Every day a vehicle is off the road is lost revenue or impaired operations.

Yes. Our maintenance contracts provide scheduled quarterly or monthly yard visits at locked-in rates. Each contract includes a fleet inspection, prioritized cleaning schedule (worst vehicles first), before-and-after documentation, and emergency response for unscheduled needs. Contract clients get priority booking over ad-hoc requests.

Some older undercoatings may contain lead, asbestos, or other regulated constituents; material identification and testing must be addressed during project planning. Abrasive blasting can transfer those constituents into spent blast media. Laser cleaning adds no abrasive media, while airborne emissions are managed with source capture and HEPA filtration. Removed undercoating, captured particulate, and filters may still require characterization, manifests, and regulated disposal based on the actual material and applicable rules.
